IDA Insurance began offering Individual health insurance solutions in 2005. Since then, this has been our fastest growing service. Individual insurance serves a specific purpose and should not be considered inferior to Group coverage. Both Group and Individual insurance solutions are advisable, but only after we listen to your needs can our team determine which solution is best. At IDA Insurance, we most often secure Individual insurance for employees leaving a practice and will be losing their health insurance, or for dependents of policyholders that graduate or become married and are no longer eligible under their parents policy.
IDA Insurance partners with Anthem Individual and Golden Rule/United Healthcare. Both companies are recognized as leaders in the health insurance industry and provide superior benefits and premiums, provider networks, claim processing, and health care tools to meet your lifestyle needs. Contact IDA Insurance today to determine which option is best for you.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) were formed in 2003 when Congress passed into law the Medicare Modernization Act. As stated on the US Department of Treasury website, “HSA’s are designed to help individuals save for future qualified medical and retiree health expenses on a tax-free basis.”
HSA’s are truly a two-part process. First, you must select a health insurance plan that meets the government standards as a qualified high-deductible health plan (HDHP). IDA Insurance specializes in utilizing the various Individual insurance options to select the best deductible and premium for you. Once the health plan is secured, you then must select an approved financial institution or administrator that you deposit funds to and draw against for qualified medical expenses. IDA Insurance’s recommendation is to utilize the services of a local bank or credit union.
The complexity, and advantages, of HSA’s is unlike any other health insurance policy. Avoid the confusion and frustration, and contact IDA Insurance today. Ask to speak with our HSA specialist, Jonathan Mayo.
